JOHN WALZ is a celebrated cellist and chamber music artist, known for his dazzling virtuosity and elegant musicianship. A student of the legendary French cellist, Pierre Fournier, he has appeared as soloist with more than 150 symphony orchestras on 4 continents. His performances of 25 different concertos include both standard showcases and rarities like Martinu’s Concerto #1 and William Schuman’s Song of Orfeus. In 1979, Mr. Walz, along with pianist Edith Orloff, founded the Pacific Trio. Now performing with violinist Roger Wilkie, this renowned ensemble has played more than 900 concerts throughout North America and Europe.

American violinist ANDREW SORDS has a celebrated career as a soloist on 4 continents and in performances with his trio. Having collaborated with 300 orchestras, Sords has been cited for combining visceral virtuosity with a ravishing tone, while international critics endorse Sords as “a fully formed artist” (Kalisz-Poland News), “utterly radiant” (Canada’s Arts Forum), and “exceptionally heartfelt and soulful” (St. Maarten’s Daily Herald). Sords has received numerous awards and distinctions reflecting his career trajectory, including the 2012 Pittsburgh Concert Society Career Grant and the 2005 National Shirley Valentin Award.

Pianist TIMOTHY DURKOVIC was born and raised in Guatemala City, Guatemala. He received his musical education at the National Conservatory of Guatemala, the Juilliard School, Salem College, and the Thornton School of Music (USC). He is the winner of several competitions and performs both nationally and internationally as a recitalist, a soloist with orchestra and a chamber musician. Timothy Durkovic is an official “Steinway Artist,” as well as broker-associate with Christie's International Real Estate.
